ENNO’s Corporate objectives : Enno designs, builds and markets processed wood pallets that are environmentally friendly and cost effective. Enno is principally engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of recycled processed wood pallets to industries spanning Manufacturing, Logistics and Distribution. Enno is committed to environmental protection, hence uses discarded and recyclable wood as the main raw material in producing the wood pallets. Additionally, the latest binding glue is bio-degradable; hence Enno’s pallets are highly safe from environmental perspective
ENNO Pallets are ISPM Compliant : ISPM 15 refers to Publication 15 of International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures, which regulates Wood Packaging Material in International Trade. ISPM is a global standard developed to reduce the risk arising out of pests across Country borders through wood packaging material such as the conventional hardwood pallets.
Several countries have implemented or in the process of implementing ISPM 15 Compliance for their imports. In such instances, the wood packaging material must be either ISPM 15 compliant; or of a form where ISPM 15 standard do not apply. In order the wood packaging material is ISPM15 complaint, the wood pallets must either be fumigated with methyl bromide or subject to heat treatment of a minimum of 56 degree Celsius for 30 minutes. Fumigation and Heat treatment come with several challenges like :
a) A certificate of compliance must be obtained prior to each shipment, to certify heat treatment. Hence, heat treatment must be repeated each time the pallet is recycled
b) Methyl Bromide is highly toxic and contributes to the depletion of the ozone layer. Accordingly several Government agencies around the Globe have banned this or in the process of doing so.

1) ISPM 15 Compliance Under ISPM Regulation No 15, no further treatment required for export. Accepted by all countries including Australia and New Zealand. Mandatorily needs Fumigation or Heat treatment for exports. Also, proper storage and quarantine needed after Fumigation or Heat Treatment process Needs periodic re-fumigation or re-HT thus incurring extra planning and cost.
2.) Weight : 20%+ lighter in weight. For e.g. Nestable pallet weights about 14 kg +/- 1 kg. Lower pallet weight saves approx USD 10 per kilo for air shipment Due to the usage of mixed hardwood and high moisure, weighs heavier. Highly inconsistent across lots. Weight of pallet varies from 23 kgs +/- 5 kg.
3.) Quality : Much higher, Superior quality. Eliminates barks, knots, cracks and other problems related to wooden pallets. As 2nd grade timber is being used for wooden pallets, barks, knots, cracks and other problems cannot be totally eliminated.
4.) Space Utilization Being nestable, occupies only about ¼ of space at storage area compared to wooden pallet. As wooden pallets are rigid in nature, they occupy about 4 times the space compared to PressPallets at storage area.
5.) Fungus / Insect Infestation Moisture content is only 6-8% thereby preventing fungus and pest infestation. Is also termite resistant. Being water resistant, it is safe even in high moisture areas. Even after HT process, moisture content is high, thus prevention of fungus cannot be 100% except kiln dry processed which is very costly. Insect can attack if storage area is not fully control.
6.) Handling : Safe handling as no nails or screws being used.
