We have formally entered the two wheeler business with the successful acquisition of business assets of Kinetic Motor Company Limited (KMCL). To start with MTWL will continue to manufacture the current range of products, which were being manufactured by KMCL, under ‘Kinetic’ brand, a household brand name in Indian market, and gradually introduce new products in a phased manner.
We have a strong in house R&D dept., capable of developing models from concept upto production. We have a state of the art manufacturing plant, where we manufacture our Indian range of products. We have our presence in countries like USA, Canada, Latin America, Europe, Africa, Middle East and South Asia. We have fully equipped export division that is actively involved in looking after all areas of export activity including sales & marketing, technical support, financial matters and after-sales-service.
We have a joint venture with SYM (San Yang Motors) of Taiwan to introduce their scooters in Indian market. As a further step of this joint venture, for our motorcycle range we have established a manufacturing facility in China using their economic manufacturing capabilities. This facility will be exclusively used for our exports and will focus on manufacturing STRYKER 125 motorcycle. This motorcycle has been especially designed keeping in mind global motorcycle market and current designing trends. The design and specifications are fully loaded and better in comparison to the best motorcycles coming out of India while we may be in a position to take advantage of the economical Chinese manufacturing capabilities.
Apart from this to take the advantage of low input Chinese manufacturing capability, we have also tied up with three more quality motorcycle manufacturers from China and have taken a captive assembly line from them to manufacture our other product range (Safari 4S, Boss 80, Boss 125, Tuff 100+, Kine 50 & Kine 100). These vehicles are also benchmarked with Indian ones on quality in terms of performance and fit-n-finish.
