Suncity Handicrafts (P) Ltd., which will be later described as Company is an export organization in the business of export of Indian Furniture since last 3-4 years. The furniture like dining table, computer desk, end table, side board, beds, cabinet, telephone table, book shelf, coffee table and chairs in various design and style are exported to various buyers of USA, UK, SRILANKA and TURKEY.
To meet its manufacturing requirement company procures the raw material (Timber) like Indian Seesame, Mango Wood, and Acacia. Sometime type of timber is changed as per demand of our valuable customers. Company use to purchase this timber through licensed Timber Suppliers who bring this from sustainable forest under control of Forest Deptt. Of states like UP, Bihar, Punjab, Gujarat and as well as Rajasthan. To prevent furniture from borer insect, termites the timber is chemically treated by only internationally approved chemical like BEBEXIN, COPBOR as many pesticides like DDT, LINDANE, CHLOROPYROPHOS are banned in US and EURO countries.
Taking no chance of warping of wood due to change of moisture content timber is seasoned in steam chamber for the fixed time period which varies from wood to wood type. As this is the first two step of quality assurance so this is done under our strict vigilance. To verify this time to time products are tested as per buyer’s demand in internationally approved lab like SGS India, BVCPS InVeritas India.
Company has its own machine setup for production containing machine like Shaper, Gauge Machine, Planer, Router, Trolly Cutter, and Belt Sander etc.Company tries its ultimate best to complete production within its own set up but sometime due to excess work load and achieving delivery dead line it use to sublet its work to some of the vendors in thoroughly maintained record and quality assurance.
The finishing of the products is done by semi automatic pneumatic machines and consumable is used of high quality which is imported by our suppliers from Germany and Italy and are internationally approved. This costs much than their Indian substitutes but company use this imported one as they provide long finish life as well as better protection from weather effect like moisture, fungus and also this make our product scratch resistant. All the finishing material contains lead content as per international approval.
As our products face long transit period which contains transition through road, marine and so many mishandling is possible. To avoid any chance of damage during transit company use high quality shock absorbent material like styro foam sheet, air bubble sheet, corrugated paper sheet roll and cartons are used of high burst resistance strength
