2. Gear Boxes
All casting bodies of Worm Gear Reduction Units are accurately bored on precision boring machine, so as to give correct centers. The worm wheels are generated on gear hobbing machine with relative custom made hobs for long life. The worm wheel shafts are ground on cylindrical grinding machine for the proper fitting of bearings and oil seals. All the raw materials used are of best quality available in the market. The design is very sturdy, sleek and aimed at long trouble free service.

Gear Box
Gear box is of streamlined design, rugged in construction, made of graded cast iron. It is completely oil-tight, dust proof and capable of being installed in the open without a separate cover. The faces and bores are accurately bored and machined on latest precision machines to ensure perfect alignment and interchangeability.
Worm :- The worm is solid with shaft made of alloy steel with case hardening and polished so as to give hard wear resistance surface. Bearing journals are accurately ground.
Worm Wheels :- It is made of Ph. Bronze on cast iron center block for long life. The teeth are hobbed on gear hobbing machine. Each and every wheel is checked to match with master to ensure complete interchangeability.
Bearings :- The taper roller bearings are used in worm with ample capacity to allow adequate journal as well as thrust loads. In case of heavy overhung loads, an extra bearing can be provided.
Oil Seals :- Best quality of oil seals are used for oil leakage problem.
