Deepankuram services started its business operations from 2005 and are Authorised OEA for KEL (Kerala Electric Ltd India) Alternators, TDPS (Toyo Deinki Power Systems, Japan) Alternators, and Simpson Gensets.
We have exported Alternators from KEL for Dubai in Higher ratings of 1500 KVA.
Our customers include India’s highest Sugar manufacturer and No1 in Turbine Manufacturer Triveni Engineering.
Among Foreign customers we have Olhahali Investments a major in Ship builder in Maldives. Deepankuram is highest off take of KEL Alternators in 2006-07.
We are working with KEL Kasaragodu to enter Turbine field with Turbine Class Alternators in India and Abroad. We are specifically targeting the manufacturers of Steam Turbines and Sugar Mills. Since local manufacturers of alternators and foreign suppliers are well established Deepankuram is trying hard to introduce KEL alternators into arena.
We are in technical discussions with a Sugar Mills for supply of 2500 KVA KEL alternator for Turbine application.
Deepankuram has supplied Marine Gensets to Gujarat based Ship Builders and is consistently promoting KEL products in Local Market and International Arena.
We have tied up with a number of Engineering Consultants in India and abroad to Promote KEL Products.
Deepankuram is looking forward to expand its business into transformers business and has partnered with Consultants and Agents abroad and looking forward to strengthen business in Transformers with KEL.

KEL recent projects:
We are associating with Alstom LHB of Germany for 500 kVA, 750 V DA sets for prestigious RAJDHANI/ SHATABDI trains of Indian Railways. About 90% population in Indian Railways are equipped with our DA sets. Similarly we are associating with MTH Praha and BHEL in Dynamic Track Stabilizers. Also we are supplying Traction Alternators to African countries through RITES.
Now we are developing 3300 HP ALCO alternators and 4000 HP GM alternators for INDIAN RAILWAYS on Transfer of Technology basis.
