This Voltage Control Unit is suitable for a single operation of upto 500 kva A.C. Generators of all makes. The Input Power for this variety of AVR is: 240 Volts A.C. Its Sensing capacity lies at: 415 Volts line to line. The Output Voltage of this AVR is: 100 Volts dc and its Output Current is 6 A dc.

About Voltage Control Unit (AVR) :
The Voltage Control Unit (AVR) of ALTEX is simple, user friendly, compact and economical. Products are state-of-the -art and suitable for varities of AC Generators. Inbuilt filter in AVR enables AC Generators to cater higher percentage of Non-linear loads.
The AVRs have different outputs to suit the excitation requirements of different sizes of A.C.Generators. The AVRs are available for LT, 415V, 3Phase; 3.3KV, 6.6KV and 11KV, 3Phase Generators. The AVRs derive power from the main AC winding and supply power to the exciter field of A.C.Generator and maintain generator output voltage within close limits from no load to full load. AVRs are available both in encapsulated and repairable model. AVRs are available with outputs up to 15A dc and 350V dc. Altex Electric Co. also manufactures Static Excitation System (SES), which feeds excitation power directly to the main field through slip rings. Dual Channel AVR Panels as per National Sugar Federation Specification are available both for LT and HT Turbo Alternators, with Grid parallel facility. Tyipical AVR outputs are: 6Amps, 95V dc; 10A, 85V dc; 10A, 150V dc; 15A, 200V dc. AVRs for 400Hz generator and single-phase generator are available on request. |
