Born in March, 1988 in the commercial world of synthetic resin emulsions and adhesives, the Company’s brand name "SHREE BOND" has earned top notch position within five years, as a brand Leader by Quality in the Indian Market through its high speed packaging in soap, carton, electronic industry, nontoxic, non-irritant products for sanitary napkins, band aids, foam etc., where consistent quality is a necessity of the day to have an edge over competitors.
The plant, equipments and quality control are designed to suit today’s needs by the Polymer Technocrat from University Dept. of Technology of Bombay University, which has in 1992 - 1993 bagged the merit as the best Institution in Industrial Research in the World.
Mr. L.V. Nayak, the CMD had since his childhood the dreams of having his own unit to promote Quality in the Global Market. He has to his credit throughout first class B.Sc (Tech) degree in Polymer Technology from UDCT & Management post graduate diploma (DMS) from Jamanalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Bombay University.
The vast industrial experience includes:
a)6.5 years at M/s. Hoechst Dyes & Chemicals Ltd. in R & D, Production & General Administration.
b) 4.5 years as, R & D cum production - Q.C. Manager with India’s largest synthetic resin adhesive manufacturer, M/s. Parekh Group of Companies (Fevicol).
c) One year, as Works Manager with M/s.Sipro Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.,Selangor
Subhang Jaya (Factory & Office), Kualalumpur, Malaysia, a local unit
Manufacturing synthetic resin Polymer emulsions & adhesives for industrial applications. During this tenure, he had toured Malaysia for marketing the products too. As such there is high potential for high Quality water based pressure sensitive adhesive products. (Hoechst Mowilith DM-45, Henkel PSA).
After having such a wide industrial experience, he started his own unit, to establish Quality, globally. Till now, our products have very successfully taken the lead by Quality tag in Indian market. We serve some of the world leaders, known for quality with ISO mark.
The list of such clientele is attached. The list leaves no doubt but confirms our total commitment to quality & service. The company which commenced production of a brand, little known to Customers in 1988, has achieved 20 - 30% growth year after year & in its fifth year had a turn over of Rs.22.5 million and presently marching to achieve above Rs 65+ million target for 2007-2008.
With a total work force of about 30, the company is doing extremely well, with all possibility of acquiring additional manufacturing unit to meet growing demand of MNC'S or to expand present capacity.
Since 1992 end, our products have started gaining ground abroad. Specialized Homopolymer emulsion is being exported to Sharjah for the manufacture of composite containers paper cones etc. So also pressure sensitive adhesives have excellent potential abroad. Indirect exports, through our adhesive applied substrates, are substantial now.
We are planning to promote our pressure sensitive, acrylic copolymer emulsions, the best in Indian market to South East, Middle East, and Australia where products from Europe are doing extremely well. Our products normally march along or slightly ahead of other products as regards Quality. Due to this we are optimistic of realizing good exports.
In Geneva Convention '99, we have been awarded International Gold Star Award for Quality by World Renowned, Business Initiative Directions, Spain. This Award amply confirms our total commitment to the Best and Consistent Quality. Also The Bombay Industries Association has conferred “Achievement Award” for the year 1999 to Mr. L.V.NAYAK
