Microsilica or Silica Fume, is amorphism dusty Silicon Dioxide. When melting the Ferrosilicon Or the industrial Silicon, the Silicon steam is expelled from the flue and is oxidized and become Silicon Dioxide then it is collected by special equipment.
Our company classify the production into three kinds according to the content of SiO2, its physical Properties and chemical properties are as follows:
1:the basic physical properties of Microsilica:
the existing form: amorphism thin powder
the typical color: brown (white in nature, the color is become darker with the density accretion)
the B.E.T Fineness: 15~27 m2/g
the bulk density: 150~200 kg/m3
the activity target:90%--110%
Physical Properties :
Grain size : Max 0.15mm and Min 0.1 mm. Less then 0.1 mm : 5% max.
Water content : Less then 3%
Packing Style : 25 kgs PP/PE bags.
Order Quantity : 10,000 ton/shipment.
Total Requirements in one Year : Around 18000 ton.
Shipment : Within 15 days after receiving LC. Whole ship Bulk shipment. No transshipment or part shipment allowed.
