? Mechanism of Action?
Inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50s ribosomal subunit. Kitasafeed is effective against gram-positive organisms (Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, and Enterococcus) and Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, Rickettsia.
? Indications?
Improvement on growth and feed efficiency.
To reduce mycoplasma and gram-positive germs in animal, decrease probability of SEP in swine, and CRD in poultry and other secondary respiratory diseases.
To reduce enteric bacterial pathogens, decrease probability of necrotic enteritis caused by Clostridia (welchii, perfringens), Swine Dysentery caused by Serpulina hyodysenteriae, and other enteric diseases as well.

? Precautions?
Forbid to use in laying hens.
Withdrawal period: 2 days before slaughter.
? Compatibility?
Better effect will be achieved when combined with the following antibiotics: Neomycin sulphate, Colistin sulphate, Flavophospholipol, Chlortetracycline, Oxytetracycline, Arsanilic acid, and SM2.
Compatible with all Anticoccidials in poultry feed.
