Physical characteristics White or off-white amorphous translucent flake. Widely existing in shell of shrimp and crab, insect shell, fungi cell wall and plant cell wall.
Chitin is mainly made from shrimp shell and crab shell, and it is basic raw material of chitosan and glucosamine.
