Starvox Electronics manufactures and supplies very compact portable 48 V @ 25 A capacity battery charger, suitable for telecommunications industry. The total size of the units is 150 mm (W) x 300 mm (H) x 360 mm (D) and weight is 12 kg. Multi-turn potentiometers are provided on front panel for setting the charging voltage from 48 to 56 V and charging current from 0 -25A. 3.5 digits DPM on the front panel provide constant display of voltage and current. It has a built in protection for output short circuit, over temperature and over voltage. Battery reverses connection protection provided. Over all efficiency is 85%. It is very convenient battery charger for charging the batteries at remote locations as transportation and handling is very easy and can be carried out by single person. Other voltage/current rating of battery chargers are also available.
