About The Inputs:-
The company uses Fiber Glass Yarn and Polyester Yarn as basic raw material. Fiber Glass Yarn is basically imported material. They are also available in the domestic market through importer at a very high price. Polyester Yarn is however available in the home market as required. Other raw materials are available in the local market as required. Some of the chemicals like, Silicone Resin and Silanes are to be imported from Germany.
About The Production System:-
Final products emerge out of several critical stages of manufacturing process. Apart from in-house processing, there is a chain of vendors around the factory to share the load of production in semi-finished stage.
About The Technology Used:-
The project is technically viable and the technology used is expected to be not out of date within a period of next 50 years. Well equipped R & D wings has been recently created in our unit to develop existing as well as new products lines.
IIT: Proximity to IIT has also given us the facility from time to time for development of products. We have round the year association with IIT Kharagpur either for development of status of existing products or for developing new products.
About The Market:-
The products of the company has wide domestic as well as overseas market. Due to lack of updated machineries and infrastructure, the company is unable to enter overseas market. Moreover, we are unable to respond to the demand by the domestic market. Inspite of having huge orders in hand, the company cannot supply to the customers timely due to limited production capacity. Once the project is implemented the company will be able to participate in the domestic as well as overseas market in full. Buyers of our products are very reputed concerns like Exide Industries Ltd., INDAL, CGPPI, Star Battery, Paracoat Products Ltd., Lakshmanan Isola Pvt. Ltd. (Swiss collaboration), Isovolta (Austrian collaboration),etc. Realizations from customers are somewhat delayed but there is no chance of bad debt.
About The Marketing System:-
The company has its own in-house marketing and distribution system. However, in case of marketing in the states other than West Bengal, commission agents are also deployed.

The company is professionally managed by a combination of highly qualified and experienced technical and finance professionals.
About The Economic Viability:-
The project is economically viable. It is running with a good margin of safety. Continuous upward trend of Turnover, Profitability & Net worth and improved current ratio year after year denotes company’s financial stability and prospect.

The company has recently installed pollution control system in the factory.

About The Project:-
The demand of the company’s products is very high as most of the products are import substitute. We cannot meet even half the demand of our buyers.
The company at present is not in a position to meet the demand of customers in full due to limited production capacity. Moreover, as per market survey, several new products are to be introduced immediately. Once the project is implemented, the production capacity will be increased in terms of quality and quantity and at the same time total cost will come down. The company will be able to present it’s quality products at a very competitive rate in the market. Sales will be multiplied several times to have a higher profitability for growth and opportunity for employment.
