Silicone, known to chemists as polyorganosiloxanes, has a unique chemical structure of alternating silicon and oxygen atoms. Aerosol formulates various products based on these silicones that help industries to produce high quality products.
King® Extra Strong Silicone Sprays- King® Heavy Duty Silicone Sprays are a pressurized solution of silicone fluids and solvents. On spraying, the propellant and solvent evaporate, leaving behind a thin film of silicone fluid. These films of silicone fluids have a wide serviceable temperature range from minus 40°C to 200°C (up to 300°C in some special grades), without decomposition or carbonization. These are non-gumming, non-oxidizing, non-staining, non-toxic and chemically inert in nature. These have high refractive index providing optical clarity and a high shine onto surfaces to which applied. It is applicable where friction takes place between non-metal and non-metal surface, non-metal to metal surface or metal to metal surface such as curtain runners, blinds, sliding doors & windows, tread mill belts, zippers of luggage, diving suits and tents, printer head guides, sewing needles-thread-work tables in high speed garment and leather production. In automobiles these are used to maintain locks, hinges, telescopic antenna, seat rails, seat belt recoilers, wiper blades, battery terminals etc.
Note: Surfaces treated with silicone spray will be resistant to the adhesion of paint, glue, ink and other coating materials. In such cases King® Heavy Duty Silicone Free Spray could be a useful option. Grades containing high solvent contents may adversely affect certain plastic and rubber surfaces, if prolonged contact is maintained. Such applications should be tested for compatibility.
King® Extra Silicone Free Sprays- King® Heavy Duty Silicone Free Spray is a pressurized solution of proprietary ingredients and solvents. These are used where the moulded article requires painting, plating or printing. The films of actives of these grades do not hamper adhesion of glues, paint, and foils etc. to the moulded articles.
King® Silicone Emulsions- King® Silicone Emulsions are water dilute-able emulsion of polydimethlysiloxane fluids. These emulsions are chemically inert, non-toxic, non-flammable and non-hazardous. The chemically inert nature of this product facilitates its use as defoamer/ antifoam in pharmaceutical, food, beverage, cosmetics and chemical processing. The company manufactures various antifoaming agents/ defoamers that are broadly classified in two categories Aqueous based & Non Aqueous based.
