The award-winning Lasette product line comprises miniature laser instruments for capillary blood collection, without physical invasion of the skin. Adopting the advanced technology of Erbium:YAG laser with optical collimation system, the needle-free lasette ensures no chance of accident sticks, cross-contamination or sharps disposal in the clinical setting.
How it works
The Needle-free Lasette uses Erbium YAG laser light , with wavelength of 2.94mm, to create a small opening on the finger for drawing capillary blood. In 1/40000 second period, the temperature of the light get 1000°C to vaporize water molecules in the skin but ensure of risk of cauterization of the delicate capillary vessels. The Needle free lasette makes a breakthrough in clinical use for capillary blood collection and adopted popularly in the western countries.
