| Dupion silk also known as raw silk fabrics, which comes with more slubs and less slubs is woven from two different colored thread, red and black, producing dark red effect. More slubs silks are done in handlooms, less slub are done using power looms. The Dupion silks come in plain, crossing colors, stripes, checks, jacquards, printed & embroidery silks. The silks are used for both furnishing & garments and is most often used for loose fitting blouses, jackets, overcoats, skirts, dresses and bridal gowns. The Dupion silk comes in following widths 44”, 54”, 60”, 108”. |
