Southern Rocks and Minerals Pvt. Ltd. Was incorporated on 1st December 1995 with two Promoter Directors, namely Mr. P. Rama Rao and his wife Mrs. P. Prema Kumari.
The core business of this company is quarrying of Granite Blocks for export markets. The company at present owns four quarries, of which three quarries are of high segment Black Galaxy variety located in Chimakurthy in Andhra Pradesh and the other being Orian Blue variety located in Andhra Orissa border properly known as Srikakulam.
During the year 2001 the company had setup a Granite Monument factory for exports of Granite Monuments to European countries. This factory became fully operational from the year 2002.
During the year 2005 the company had setup a 100% Export Oriented Unit for manufacture of polished slabs for the US, Newzeland, Australia, Polland, UK and other European Countries market.
