Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Aarthi Scans Centre features a Siemens TIM 1.5 Tesla AVANTO with Syngo Software, a Siemens 0.2 Tesla MAGNETOM Concerto. Each equipment is equipped with the latest software, offering many modes and viewing options that include: the ability to construct and rotate images in 3D; Neuro Imaging (Flair) to show soft tissues of the brain differently to diagnose MS, infarcts and ischemic changes; and special cardiac Imaging software to display the operation of the heart.
These systems are also capable of Echo Speed Imaging, Tissues Spectroscopy, Diffusion Weighted Imaging, Perfusion Imaging and Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
Aarthi Scans MRI machines are very patient friendly. The systems scan fast and feature a wider bore. The concept of a wide bore gives the patient a more open feeling, reducing the likelihood of claustrophobia and improves patient acceptance. An excellent Quality Control program for equipment and processors is maintained with phantom checks conducted on all machines to make sure they are in proper calibration. Advanced patient monitoring devices such as the Invivo Unit, Data Scope and passport are used to observe and monitor the patient inside the magnet. |
